Randy Pausch, 'Last Lecture' professor, dies
From the Associated Press today: "Randy Pausch, the Carnegie Mellon University computer scientist whose 'last lecture' about facing terminal cancer became an Internet sensation and a best-selling book, died Friday. He was 47."
This is all over the internet, but if you've never seen Randy Pausch's last lecture, I highly recommend watching it. I have to admit, I first saw him on Oprah and found him very courageous and inspiring in a genuine, authentic sense. (For the record, they show Oprah reruns on late-night TV so if I'm having any trouble sleeping I put her on.)
